The rooms were surprisingly very spacious ! We had a lounging space which was separated from the bedroom, and a good size balcony that looked out into the sunset over the sea. There were adequate sockets for charging. A multi-type cable was provided too with ready USB ports. The hotel looks new too. They provide drinks at the lobby. Also, light breakfast too. The onsen in the hotel was under maintenance when we were there but they arranged for a nearby onsen for us as an alternative. We had a very happy stay and will recommend this highly to anyone coming round to Obama !

Great roof-top onsen style bath with views of the lake. Very quiet location even though it is a large hotel. Great selection of food at the dinner and breakfast buffets. Interesting walks through the hells (jigoku) hot spring fields. Very reasonably priced restaurants in the small town centre. There is also a local bus service linking the hotel with Isahaya station and Shimabara ferry port.

Location is close to the center and the bus station. All in walking distance as well as the restaurants and some onsens. The room is in a classic Japanese style including ground sleeping. The view over the lake is superbe. But one of the best things is the staff really helpful and supportive and giving tips around Unzen! I would have loved to stay longer.

The owner speaks good english and was up for a nice chat. My room was very large and had a beautiful view on the lake. The price i paid was very good for the room i had. I would reccomend this place to my friends.

Amazing location: quiet, with a view of the lake and the hills, beautiful views to wake up to. Very easy to find. The host was very pleasant. I was stunned by how spacious the apartment was. There is a little terrace to sit on outside, and the ground floor has a co-working space with a coffee machine and a large manga collection. Definitely one of the top places I have stayed.

Excellent location, very good breakfast and dinner(so many details and delicious). The owner, she is very nice and kind. In the dining room is so noisy by the group's party beside. One drunkle (perhaps) has joyfully speak out and laugh loud through dinner time! So, our enjoyment of Japanese dining experience is affected.

Incredible experience, fantastic huge room with your own balcony and bathroom facing the mountain and the steaming geysers of Unzen Jigoku :), delicious dinner and breakfast and awesome staff. Nighttime has your fee self service alcohol :)
