This is just perfect for shiminami kaido. Large room with space for my ebike to charge overnight. Good location near convenience store 5/10m by bike to get to Setoda's center Checkin was great ameneties with washing machine, lounge were clean and great.

Place to store bikes. Bathroom was extremely nice, with high quality towels, soap, and other amenities. Quiet neighborhood and everything was clean.

Right by the water the staff was great. Free marshmallows. The dome thing was super comfy.

Everything was perfectly amazing from the beautiful garden, our room with a view of the sea to the multi-course delicious dinner. Highly recommend!!

They went above an beyond to make our stay wonderful

Wonderful hospitality in a beautiful place. The staff, the rooms, the food - all excellent.

Everything was above my expectations and the place felt so comfortable and relaxing

Great owner (and cat) Comfortable and spacious room. Nearby area worth visiting

Excellent location close to bus and ferry, and a short walk to the tourist centre. Lovely staff who were super friendly and informative. Cleanliness was top notch. Our room was generously sized, perfect for our group. I wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the lovely common room area!

The property was clean, spacious and the location was great. The host was very prompt at communicating with us. It was a terrific place for a family.

Lovely, Home and Host. They were incredibly helpful with food recommendations, and willing to help if anything came up. It felt like staying at a good friends home.

Location is great, it's right by the water. We actually were on our bicycles to get there and no problem locating the hotel. There's plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel, if you come by car. Facilities are great. We stayed in shared dorm using shared bathroom which is no issue for us at all. Bunk bed is quite comfy and quiet at night. Bathroom is squeaky clean, very very clean! We love everything here and will definitely plan a trip to stay here again!

Very nice host and great little cottage on a beautiful island.

The hosts were lovely and super helpful. You can tell they truly care about their guests and guest experiences. They have thought of every little detail possible for these units. Full kitchen with every appliance one could ever want, washer and dryer and so much more. Brand new units, clean and bright. Right across the road from a park and beach. They even had a garden planted between buildings for guests to help themselves too. Our host also shared some local oranges with us on check-in. We got talking and he even showed us his personal orange grove and introduced us to his wife who shared homemade sweets with us. Not saying they will be able to do that with each guest, but it sure was wonderful for our family connecting a little more authentically with local residents. Highly recommend.

I loved everything and will definitely come back in the future.

Incredible place to stay! The lemon sours on tap, the sauna, the BBQ grill and fire pit, the semi-private beach area in the back-- it was all such an incredible experience. We were met by a host upon our arrival who gave us a tour of the place and we were just so impressed. They even offered to pick up some groceries and breakfast for us and provided us some of the local delicacies. 10/10 would come back again. The property was also just so beautiful!

Authentic vacation stay, amazing food, and extremely nice host. Everything was amazing she was nice and was very accommodating. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a real home cooked meal and a rest stop during the shimanami kaido.

The room was beautiful and tub, the views and outdoor area with a fire place, hammock, lawn chairs and pizza oven. I loved the dinner and breakfast and all the amenities.

Amazing location, an exceptionally conceived utopian unwinding spa villa.

The house was so nice and thank you for offering all the food supplies and drinks in the fridge. I love the balcony on the second floor - drinks at night and coffee in the morning

Perfect for our bike trip. Loved being next to the ocean. Had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This place is beautiful and has all the amenities possible

This is a fantastic accommodation! I booked it for my dad's birthday while cycling the Shimanami Kaido and it didn't disappoint. I knew it would be good from the reviews, but all of the finishing touches made it excellent. The towels were fluffy, the beds were comfy, and all the instructions were well explained. It's true that the accomm is quite out of the way of any shops or restaurants but we came prepared with the ingredients for dinner. The kitchen was well equipped, so it worked out very well.

It's a very nice house with a great barbeque fire place. You can get wood in the house (1000 yen for 3 kg), no need to bring your own. Basically there's everything you need to have a nice stay with barbeque. Also good internet and air-conditioning. Self-check-in.

Amazing views and very relaxing. Wakka handled everything from our bike rentals, dinner reservations and luggage transfers. There were plenty of staff onsite during checkin and mealtimes. The tent was extremely cozy but still spacious and comfortable. I am very happy with the experience and would recommend it!

we had an excellent stay during our shimanamikaido cycling tour including island explorer. Instant cup noodle, beer, water were all well prepared at home that you can buy easily and the facilities were best of the bests

The local feeling you get. It is live living like a local, even for just one night. Lovely house to sleep if your are cycling around: it makes the perfect stop.
