The location was convenient as we were traveling by car. Although the inn was in the middle of a neighborhood, it would have been possible for someone to walk to stores or a bus stop. The two women who were there to welcome me and my kids were very friendly and kind.

a converted studio apartment complex turned into hotel was amazing yes you have a nice size room kitchenette and own bathroom and the stay is so friendly and kind I was so burnt out from the ferry and walking I forgot my bag in lobby and the lovely beautiful receptionist brought it right up to such hospitality give this place a try to won’t regret it

The staff was nice, and answered the questions politely, responsible, willing to help. The room is fine, clean, there is tea and a kettle, good bed, the room is clean, atmosphere is nice in general. The staff helped me return the money back for the day that I cancelled.

We absolutely loved our stay at Traveler’s Wharf Shichgahama. Taka is a wonderful host - attentive, accommodating and we really enjoyed getting to know him a little bit. He took excellent care of us, anticipating our needs and showing great hospitality. He picked us up from the train station, and advised us on activities in the area. I would highly recommend you stay here if you are looking for a quiet, low key place close to the beach.

This was the best experience I’ve had in Japan. The staff were extremely welcoming and it felt like I was staying with friends. The restaurant was fabulous and the location was great. My room was on the bayside and I would watch the sun rise each morning, breathtaking.
