The location is very close to train station and ferry terminal. There is a big parking lot across the street with very low costs. There are a number of highly rated restaurants just 1 to 2 blocks away and a supermarket that is less than a 3 minute drive. The house was very beautifully crafted with just the right amount of decoration. We loved the open kitchen with countertop space for quick breakfast. It is equipped with proper washer and dryer. The bathroom is located on the ground floor so there is good separation of wet and dry areas. The host also included a modern TV with all the apps installed to watch your favorite shows to unwind. The bedding and linens were top quality cotton and it felt luxurious to the touch. Our host was very considerate to put an extra bed for us in the tatami sleeping area to accommodate our two young kids. We all loved the house and wish we had more time to stay for a few more days.

The access to the onsen nearby was incredible and something I wasn't aware came with the room! The proximity to the train and ferry stations is also unbeatable. The hotel has a lovely lobby and shared space with free tea and was super comfortable to do work on my laptop.

Traditional Japanese style house with a good landscape, nice furniture, necessary items for staycation and a lot of board games! Love it! The property was full of the convenient and comfy. Also has a good smell and near by the sea. We love it!

What a lovely little gem to call home for our stay on Naoshima. The owners were delightful and couldn't be more accommodating. They picked us up from (and took us back to) the ferry, offering to keep our bags until check in. They provided 4 e-bikes which were perfect to use to go to the various art exhibitions, without needing to wait for the shuttle. They also recommended (and made) dinner reservations for us as options on the island are very limited. We loved how well-stocked the kitchen was. So nice not to have to worry about buying various condiments. Lots of options for breakfast and for snacks. It was great for us as two couples. Very comfy.

Not quite what I expected from a $300+ per night accommodation. Nice room but rather small. Basically it’s a four plex next to the beach but you do have a sea wall that blocks the view from the room. But you are staying on the island so that’s a huge plus! Would stay here again if it were maybe $150 a night.

I thought the layout of the space was cool. The tiny row houses get the most attention, but there is another house that has been sectioned off into different rooms for guests to stay in. I stayed in the main house known as House II. The space was very clean when I arrived. The host was very attentive to my arrival since I had some trouble arriving to Naoshima and was 2 hours late. It was also very convenient to be able to rent a bike at the property rather than a vendor on the main road.

Host, Yuki is super friendly and helpful. The old-school bath is super. Yuki's morning breakfasts delicious. Kitchen and snacks were available too. The room and formal garden totally traditional and comfortable. location on hillside in a quiet neighborhood was great for sitting out in the garden watching the sunset.
