Amazing little place in the middle of the countryside next to a lagoon that you can swim in! (No crocs). Very friendly and helpful owner and staff who will try to help you in every way You can see so many birds and animals from the place itself You can do a local bird walk or a half or full day safari in Wilpattu National Park The dinner is home cooked Sri Lankan style, very fresh and tasty and plenty of it! Loved every minute of my stay

We had the best time staying at Wild Wadi Wilpattu. The property is located about 5 - 10 minutes from the Wilpattu park entrance which not only means you can easily book a safari but you also experience some incredible wild life just steps outside your door. We cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and so accommodating. It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!

This place is amazing. If you want to go to Wilpattu National Park, this is the perfect accommodation. We booked The Sanctuary half an hour before arriving and we were warmly greeted at the door by the owner Siraj. Siraj's passion for environmental protection is incredible. His knowledge of the ecology of the area is huge. Siraj and his team provided us with first class hospitality, beautiful food and a fully organized safari we will never forget (for a very competitive price). Extras like plentiful home grown bananas, a night tour of the grounds (seeing flying foxes and mouse deer) and free photos of what we saw on safari were the icing on the cake. It was a privilege to have stayed at The Sanctuary and we left enriched. I would not hesitate to return here in future.

The Leopard Inn offers perfect facilities for a fair price. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes away from the Wilpattu National Park entrance. Our host Prathap made our stay even better! An incredidbly nice guy who made sure we had everything we needed... and more! He was kind enough to help me get fuel for the TukTuk as it was empty, which is just one example of his efforts. They can arrange safari tours, where it is recommended to go with the early option as it has a higher chance of animal sigthings and the park is not as busy. This means leaving the Inn at 5.45... but it is more than worth it. Also, it is not expensive! The food they serve is simple but tasty. Thanks again, Prathap!

Everything was great… A piece of heaven, very beautiful and different rooms, very clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful, the staff are all great...The food is delicious , and overall everything was great. I wish I could stay longer.
