Rohan and his family were welcoming and accommodating from the minute we arrived. It was truly like being part of their family the way they looked after us. The location was great and peaceful, and we were fed the most delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners…. Not to mention free drinking water to refill your bottles. It felt like coming home after a day of exploration to pure relaxation. We were sad to leave, and as we did we were given a parting gift, which was so special. The stay at Corner Cottage was the highlight of our trip. This young couple is welcoming and energetic to create an exceptional yet homey experience for tourists. Make sure you request dinner! Amazing food and with a tuk tuk on site it was so convenient to get a ride to the bus and our own tour!

We loved this homestay because: -large comfortable and super clean room. -host was so friendly and super helpful with our transportation needs and logistics -treated us like family -helped organize our sightseeing around town -everyday, tea/juice and cake/fruit were brought to our room during tea time -location was very near restaurants, grocery store, ATMs, beer store -on request, they can make breakfast and dinner -located on a very quiet street with a roof top city view

The owner and his right hand Shiran who were just amazing and will say yes to everything you need! Amazing people! Got lemon juice and the most yummy sugar lemon roti for welcome drinks, they made us feel at home. The location was perfect, out of the hustle and bustle of the town and close enough to be close to all the attractions. Nice big room, comfy bed, hot water (hot /cold water in different pipes) but you can shower with only the hot. Clean and really just perfect. Stay here!

Without doubt, Arachchi Heritage is the best place we stayed in Anuradapura, during our time in Sri Lanka ! Excellent services from arrival to departure. The staff was extremely friendly, we felt very homely. Great view of Lake 'Thisa' and most of the key pagodas in Anuradapura. Breathtaking view in the early morning. Food, love it 😍. Arachchi Heritage carries sentimental values and heritage of essence of Sri Lanka. If you are looking for a place to stay which you can connect with the environment and oneself , Arachchi Heritage is a place you must consider. Definitely will come back when we visit Sri Lanka next year.

The place was clean and new, very comofortable. Bathroom was spotless. The breakfast and dinner can be ordered and are delicious sri lankan food. Highly reccomend! Also you can walk right into the park area. Family running this place is very nice.

    Lovely relaxing stay that had a home stay feel. The host was very kind, she made us feel welcome and provided a good breakfast too. Spacious room that was clean and tidy, the Aircon was very good too. Onsite parking for our tuktuk and the pool was a great addition compared to others we had looked at online.

    A good place. Clean place. Very calm and comfortable bed. The room size is small. But it is ok for me. Owners are friendly and supportive. Parking is small. But it is not a problem. They helped to park the car in a safe place. The food is great. Breakfast was fine.

    Very friendly staff. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean with hot water in the on suite bathroom. Plenty of car parking space. Location was close to a lake. Transport was required to visit the religious sites. We would use this guest house again if we were visiting the area Good value for money.
