Gorgeous, clean. Comfortable bedding. Hot water for showering. Food was good, but was more expensive than other places for dinner.
Alliance Berbère - Vallée d'Aït Bouguemez
I felt at home and relaxed from the moment I walked in. Anne & Ali's hospitality was some of the best I've received in Morocco. The meals are fresh with lots of variety and local ingredients. Anne prepared a picnic lunch for me every day to take with me on my bicycle- which was great since it is Ramadan and food isn't easy to find during the day. The room was private, comfortable and spacious. I appreciated having a heater to warm the room before I went to sleep. Bathroom and shower are great. Washer was available to clean my clothes. The property is peaceful and well situated to explore Ait Bouguemez Valley. I recommend staying here!

I enjoyed my stay here. It was my favourite in Morocco. The owner and Karim (who prepared the meals) were welcoming and hospitable. The location is very close to the Tabant shared taxi station. Meals are available on request and they were delicious. If you need any assistance ask the owner. He was very helpful. He can assist in organizing treks or provide information. It does get a bit cold in the evenings and early mornings. So bring warm clothing. I slept under 3 blankets.

AdaZen Ecolodge - Ait Bouguemez
The room was beautiful and thoughtfully appointed with everything we could need. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It truly felt more like being invited into someone’s home than staying at an ecolodge. I can’t say enough good things about our hosts; I’ve never experienced hotel staff who went so far out of their way to make us feel comfortable the way the team at Adazen did. The food was also delicious!
Gite Tamounte
Gite Tamounte is wonderful in every way if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful get away with access to the gorgeous Atlas Mountains- plus a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. Hassan and all the staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. They went out of their way to give us hiking advice, and cooked delicious local food! They catered to my diet and even cooked my cousin an extra meal when she wasn’t feeling well. Great all around!

Simply a wonderful place we’re to stay at for a few days while exploring the valley. The room was very nice, clean, and the bed very comfortable. The owners, especially Ibrahim, were super friendly and helpful; some of the best. What sets this property apart is its wonderful location and the amazing and plentiful food.
Seham, the woman running the property, was amazing! She had a full house but still was incredibly helpful and kind as well as a great cook for all our meals! The property is also great with nice, warm and clean rooms and several terraces with great views. We wish we would have stayed longer!
The view from the terrace alone puts this Gîte in the category of "must visit". I also especially enjoy the evening meals (especially when served on the terrace at sunset!) The owner stops by from time to time and the conversations are always interesting & useful. I've stayed at Gîte Ali perhaps 10 times over the past 4 years. The Gite is located just a 2 minute walk from the village café which is quite the gathering place especially if there is a good football match on TV.
