I liked pretty much everything on this hotel, stayed 2 weeks ago. It's so nice to see a great eco hotel that takes care of turtles that you can feed. The food was excellent, nice and quiet without any kids around. You must visit the on-site ice shop there, it is like art deco. Also of course the salt cave is a must not miss while visiting there. There no TVs in the room, which was a nice change, you connect more to your surroundings and l9ved ones. The onsite restaurant has great prices and great tasing food. I'd say the prices are better then the dowtown area

The place is absolutely stunning with a beautiful garden hidden right in the very middle of Valladolid. The staff was the nicest I have ever encountered tending to all of our needs (a couple and a 2-year-old kid plus a grandma). Both the dinner and breakfast included with the room were delicious and very nicely presented and it was lovely not to have to look for food after a long day at Chichen. The included parking right next to the hotel was also very convenient. The building is old, so do not expect modern luxury, but you can't beat the location right off the main plaza, plus the A/C works just fine and the garden more than makes up for that.

Super lovely room and great value for what we paid. It is run by a friendly and caring family. Walkable distance to the town centre. Breakfast was included with our stay and they insisted on waking up early to prepare it even though we had to wake up early to drop off our rental car in Cancun. Parking is on the property behind a closed gate. I would definitely stay here again.

They took great effort to prepare the room. We loved the fresh fruit in our room upon arrival. As well as, the rose and hibiscus petals in the tub and two complimentary juices. The room was beautifully decorated and the hammock in our bedroom was a nice relaxing touch! Just a few steps from our patio door was the exceptional Garden! We absolutely loved our stay!

I really enjoyed staying in The Blue Eco Lodge. Owners of the venue are taking care of their guests. Seems they love what they do. Venue is very clean. Breakfast was prepared special for us: fresh bread, butter, jams and fruits. For drink handmade juice and of course coffee/tea. There is a private, closed parking on the venue's area. Got there more than expected.
