Cosiness of the property. The host Hilda is a very kind lady. I loved the breakfast she made for me.

Very nice relaxed atmosphere, big common area to prepare and eat meals

It was pleasant to stay in property's house and chat with them after the work.

Breakfast was the typical Dutch hotel breakfast. We loved it. It is weird to find such a nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. Will definitively stay here again if I'm in this part of Holland.

Great safe and dry place to store the bicycle. They had all the items we needed to prepare our meals. For us visiting small communities this stay was in the perfect spot.

The owner is very helpful and friendly. Nice bright bedroom. Comfortable bed. Coffee machine in the bedroom. Quiet place. Even though I made a mistake in renting a room with shared bathroom, I felt comfortable. I’m just to have the bathroom next to my bed so that was a little annoying when I woke up in the middle of the night but the owner leaves the lights on so it was not that difficult.

Lauret welcomed us on arrival and we had a fantastic meal where Martin went through every course explaining all the way.

It was quiet and private and well located.

Close to sea. Nice old building.

The room and the property itself was immaculate. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Could not ask for more, everything was there.

The chalet is on a farm, the views all around are amazing - there is unobstructed view towards the fields on one side and the beautiful horses on the other. There is a fireplace in, which warms it up super quickly and adds an unbeatable cozy feel. The chalet is small but you have everything you can possibly need for a few days stay. And the hosts are lovely so I am sure they would accommodate any other reasonable requests. What I loved the most was the company of animals: the horses, the dog, chicks, sheep. There were also a couple of cats who, alas, never came close to me as they were way too busy having fun in the fields, so I just enjoyed watching them from afar. Winsum is beautiful too: the canals, the churches, the houses. No wonder it is rated the most beautiful village in the country. The location is great for a starting point to explore the area: Pieterburen, Groningen, Lauwersoog, the Wadden Islands are very close and so worth visiting.

Beautiful surroundings and well thought out accommodations

One of the best breakfast which I had ever. Thanks to Ms. Marijke for her extraordinary hospitality during my 2 days stay. The house was about 250 years old but very well preserved and has a great garden.
