I loved how easy going people were working there and they were too kind to upgrade our room.We liked the view on our window the most.Kitchen supplies were totally more than enough.

Cute place converted from a fisherman's lodge. Nice water view. Kitchenette was a nice surprise.

We loved everything about this dorm. It was very clean and comfortable and in a nice location, especially with a car pretty much anything that you need is very close to you. Even if you don't have a car there is a bus stop 5 minutes away. There is a nice view and one of the most beautiful hikes that we did 10 minutes away from the house. But above all, what we really enjoyed was the hospitality of the owners. Amazing people, very friendly and helpful and make you feel like home.

We spent three nights at Gammelbanken Seaview Suites and loved our stay. The modern apartment and beautiful sea views made it a lovely place to relax and enjoy Lofoten as a family. Ballstad was a great base for exploring, and coming back to the apartment was a pleasure each day. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Super helpful staff, spacious room, great facilities in kitchen. Little bit of noise through the walls, but nothing extreme. Overall a good place to say.

Newer space , confutable bed, nice kitchen

It is like a small house which you have everything you need for staying in 4-5 days. The kitchen and wash-machine are there. The house is also very cosy and nice view nearby. We will come back again. 😊

The whole place was for us. Comfortable house with a kitchen where we could cook. Super clean. Available coffee and tea. A possibility to use a washing machine. Great communication with the host, instant replying. At a quiet neighborhood, but close to a bigger town. Great price-value ratio.

Erik was a very friendly and accommodating host. The house was super spacious. It has a fully usable kitchen, facility to wash and dry clothes. The check in process was very smooth using a digital lock and key. We even forgot a few items in the fridge and Erik let us come collect it after a few hours of checking out. Very nice and friendly gesture. The house has some great views through its windows from all the rooms. A lovely home for a small family or a group of friends. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it.

I loved this place and wish I had stayed longer. It's a clean, modern, spacious cabin with all amenities I could've wanted. The main bed was comfortable and there were blackout shades for midnight sun. The kitchen was well-equipped and having the washing machine was huge. The view out the back was beautiful. The location is convenient for drives to lots of key spots in Lofoten but the area is calmer than many of the tourist hubs like Reine, which I really liked. The place is walkable to some restaurants, hikes, etc. For the price, it was a great deal.
