It was ok for a one-night stay, served the purpose. Having a free parking is good.

The hotel is an older property with character which is why I chose it, in a more rural area but on a main route. When we arrived they showed us our room but because it had a staircase that I found difficult to walk up they immediately found us a room on the ground floor which was so nice of them and appreciated by me. We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting relatives who were in Stavanger a short drive away. The staff were super nice and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from. Eggs, meat, lovely grain breads, cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc. A lovely assortment to temp anyone and the breakfast room was delightful.

Owner very responsive, place was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Was nice to have a wash machine. Big and modern. Close to mall and grocery store.

This apartment was the best place of our whole month-long vacation! It was great to have such a large space, especially the huge balcony overlooking the harbor. I could have lived just on the balcony! It had all glass windows, which could be fully opened to make it totally open air. It was extremely clean and modern, with 2 bedrooms, a large bath with shower and a washing machine/dryer combo (which we used a lot!). Also a full kitchen with all the dishes and tools needed, a living room area with big TV and, of course, the amazing balcony...which was as big as some other hotels we stayed in on our trip. It was walking distance to several restaurants on the harbor in Sandnes, and there was a small grocery store just across the street up the hill. The underground parking was also a great bonus. And, there was a train station by the restaurants that you could take to go to Stavanger, but we didn't use because we had a car. It was also in a great location in terms of roads needed to get to Stavanger and around the area. The owners were super nice and we corresponded several times before and after our stay. Helen met us at the property to give us the keys and show us how to use the parking garage, and answer any questions. Ingar texted to make sure we had everything we needed and let us know we could reach out with any questions. Overall, I would give this 20 stars if I could! It was absolutely amazing!

Beautifully located in a quiet rural area, with serene views of the rugged Norwegian landscape and sheep grazing in the immediate vicinity of the property. All this only a 20 minute drive from the airport, around 25 from the centre of Stavanger (possibly more if there's traffic) and an hour from the Preikestolen trailhead. The hosts are helpful and mindful of the guests' privacy. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Big smart TV with YouTube.
