This is set in a beautiful, remote location. It is a short walk, down the quiet road, to get to the Hoyvika Beach trail. This little house is more of a large studio with the bed tucked into a corner next to the kitchen. For a small kitchen it had everything we needed to cook our breakfast and dinner. Be aware, the bed and sofa are lower than standard. We found it to be a very comfortable place to stay. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful.

THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT THE HOST - she was wonderful to work with and very understanding of our situation. We were actually not able to stay at this location because the ferry system failed us. We had stayed in Hamn the night before with the plan of taking the morning ferry at Botnhamn to Gryllefjord pier (Andenes). Because there are so many caravans (motorhomes) clogging the roads, they take up all of the ferry space by camping out overnight in long lines to the pier. This makes it near impossible for regular cars to get on the ferry unless you literally camp out in a long line over night... in your car... along with the caravans with hopes to make the next ferry. It was apparent to us that we would not make the next TWO ferries because lines were so long and so we ended up driving 7 hours to our next location. I hope this host and all of the other hotels and businesses on both sides of this ferry launch a big complaint to local transportation authorities to offer many more ferries or put in restrictions on how many caravans can be put on a ferry at once, giving way to regular vehicles. Again, host was amazing and if ever we are in Andenes we would 100% book with her again based off our our experience with her.
