We liked pretty much everything - the hotel is stylish and modern, we had a room with sea view. It was a midnight sun season, but it was possible to make the room absolutely dark when needed. Shower was also nice. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. There is a nice pub with relatively cheap food (for Norwegian standards) in the building right next to the hotel. There are also supermarkets and a museum in 1 minute walking distance. The hotel has parking with EV chargers. Just amazing!

This was one of our best and most memorable stays anywhere! Inside the Glampingdome is luxurious with high quality furnishings and bedding. I don’t know how I’ll ever go camping without matching powered recliners again 😂. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. There was a high degree of attention to detail throughout. The dinner was the best we have had in Norway and it was wonderful to be one tiny part of preserving the history of such a beautiful place. We walked to the sculpture garden at our hosts recommendation and we were cozy inside while the wind blew and the sea crashed under the docking in the night.

The view outside of the water front unit was spectacular - the floor to ceiling window is as advertised. I was very fortunate to have at least one day with clear weather to really get that magazine worthy view. The restaurant at the hotel was great, if only just a bit expensive (the convenience factor can't be beat and this area doesn't have many options). A breakfast buffet was included and honestly was one of the best I've had in my travels.
