We were welcomed immediately by Sharon, the manager, and she also helped us carry our luggage upstairs. Because we are elderly she asked if there was anything we needed to make things easier for us, eg. a downstairs apartment rather than upstairs. We loved the view from upstairs. We offered to fix a squeaky door hinge but a handyman came and fixed it the moment we mentioned it. Sharon was full of ideas and suggestions for meals and activities. They all worked out well.

Amuri Estate exceeded our expectations. The property had large perfectly maintained grounds with an amazing view towards Hamner Springs township. Our room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We had use of the lounge and kitchen - which were an added bonus. Also our complimentary platter and bottle of wine on arrival were unexpected and a real bonus. Amuri Estate is a gracious property and everything was of a high standard.

This was the cleanest and most well thought out property I have ever stayed in. They went over the top with providing extra amenities we did not expect and the location was within walking distance of just about everything we wanted to do. Everything was excellent, from the friendliness of the woman at the front desk, to the complimentary towels for the hot pools. I can’t rave about this place enough. We can’t wait to come back. 😁

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We got a couples massage, which was amazing, and also took a morning yoga class. Breakfast was delicious. The retreat is very quiet and relaxing. Just what we needed to wrap up an amazing three week vacation in NZ. Thanks!

    We were able to get check-in details via email due to a late arrival, great description easy to find. The heaters were on so the room was warm when we arrived in 2*c weather. Good water pressure, tidy, warm, comfortable, spacious and quiet. Great selection of amenities and value for price. There was ample space for car parking and felt safe and secure within the property.

    Nice and roomy for two people,( can sleep 4 but couch only fits 2) with two single beds in lounge and queen in bedroom. bedroom nice size, bed comfortable and lovely linen. Full kitchen. Bathroom very clean, lovely hand wash etc. undercover car parking close to chalet. Only stayed one night and didn’t get chance to look around at facilities as weather poor.

    The location was exceptional being surrounded by cafes, the thermal pools just down the road and right in town. Parking was great with a car park off to the side. The room was clean and comfortable with very lovely views of the mountains.

    Really good location and walking distance to everything. Very friendly staff. Very accommodating. Gave extra towels with no hassle for the room and you can help your self to the towels for the hot pools. Very clean. Has everything you need. Had 2 TVs so handy for family with kids. Free parking. Very safe.

    Great location. The room, although small had everything we needed. The fireplace in the restaurant was fantastic. It is a real gathering space where you can't help but end up in conversations with others. Close car parking was great too.
