The friendly welcome from our hosts Jan and Chris. The accommodation was exactly as described. Very comfortable, nice breakfast selection including lovely fresh sourdough bread. Jan recommended heading to the surf beach to see the last of the sun which was beautiful. She also recommended a restaurant/pub for dinner which was perfect for our last night in NZ. To top it all off, the skies were so clear from the garden, we were able to see the Milky Way and millions of stars. A perfect end to our holiday. Thanks for hosting us. Couldn't have been better.

This accommodation is superb in every way, very spacious, lovely furniture, comfortable bed, good bathroom and fabulous view. Well maintained outside area, with deck, table and chairs etc, free on-site parking and excellent WiFi. It is very close to the estuary, the ocean beach and close to the local Mangawhai Heads shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay at Heads Up - the studio is spacious, with a comfortable bed and good shower (large bathroom). The hosts are awesome - they brightened our (very rainy) day with avocados, and a complimentary plate of guacamole + nachos. Great location, as well. It's really nice to have your coffee in the morning sun, looking at the beautiful view from the terrace (you can see the ocean in the distance).

We absolutely loved our stay at The Ridge! The property was easy to find but also nestled in the hills with plenty of privacy and gorgeous views. The decor was modern, simple and clean.     The owner was very helpful about locating my phone charger, which I left behind when we left. The villas have beautiful views, are very quiet, with parking nearby, and security, stayed warm, the kitchenette was well stocked, and the dishwasher was very much appreciated. Loved the Nespresso coffee machine!
