Beautifully located in the mountains, with three cabins offering stunning views. The interiors are incredibly tasteful, modern and well designed. Everything inside was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable, with soft pillows, and the bedding and towels were white and exceptionally clean – clearly freshly laundered, which is especially impressive and appreciated given the challenging mountain conditions and limited water supply. There were some minor water issues in the bathroom, but we were able to wash without problems. It’s best not to plan long baths or showers, as water is extremely scarce in such a remote, high-mountain location with difficult access via narrow roads. Water is delivered by tanker trucks, there is no well or running water, so it truly needs to be respected and used carefully. This makes the level of cleanliness and fresh linen even more admirable. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Dinner was delicious, with local dishes well seasoned and full of flavor – the best hummus of our entire trip in Oman! A very important feature is the air conditioning with heating function. At night the outside temperature dropped below 10°C, while inside our cabin it was a cozy 22°C. In the morning the cabin heats up quickly through the large windows, and the air conditioning cools efficiently. Very quiet and peaceful, perfect conditions for rest and relaxation. In the evening, the staff lit a campfire in front of our cabin, which was a lovely and atmospheric touch. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed directly from the bed. The location is also ideal for the ‘Balcony Walk’ hiking trail, with the trailhead right next door. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay.

Location is absolutely fantastic, right above the village, with private parking. The rooms are spacious and clean and the view is amazing from the rooms, too. We were happy to find a room with 3 single beds for the kids. The staff went above and beyond with every occasion. Omani hospitality lives up to the expectations. The perfect place to rest after a fantastic hike.

The property is gorgeous! The structure is super modern but created with the stones of the mountain. I found it super beautiful, with the view directly on the canyon. However, the best thing was the incredible way the owner made us feel welcomed. It is not easy in Oman to be welcomed in houses and hotels by Omani themselves. But here we finally found it. Ibrahim and his wife really made us feel home, sharing their stories, food and an amazing care. Additionally the location is great because right in front of the room starts the tracking of the canyon.

The property fully matches the description. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the territory is very pleasant and well maintained. The accommodation is well equipped with everything needed, even for a longer stay. There is also a great children’s playground, which was a big plus for us. The host is very polite, welcoming, and extremely helpful, providing great assistance with organizing trips, excursions, and giving useful local recommendations.
