We almost didn’t book here because of the bad reviews but we didn’t have much choice because we booked during a holiday long weekend at the very last minute so most of the hotels were fully booked. We booked our first few nights in Iloilo at a different hotel so we only need a one night accommodation near the airport because our flight was early. We were pleasantly surprised that our room was comfortable and nice for its price. It also includes a breakfast buffet for 2pax (it only has a few choices but it was free and considering the price that we paid for our room, its a win!) The staff were also very nice and helpful. We had room service for dinner and their tofu and iced tea were really good. I will rate this hotel a perfect 10 because despite the things that the property were lacking, we also have to consider the amount we paid for such. This isn’t a 4 or 5 star hotel but our experience was really good and comfortable.

The location is very near our wedding venue

My stay at Sotogrande Hotel Iloilo was a genuinely pleasant and satisfying experience, largely because of the property itself. What I appreciated most was how spacious and organized the property felt. The common areas were comfortable and not overcrowded, allowing guests to move around freely and enjoy the surroundings. The overall ambiance struck a good balance between elegance and comfort, making the stay feel both luxurious and homey at the same time. Being within a secure and peaceful environment added to the sense of ease throughout my visit. Overall, the property of Sotogrande Hotel Iloilo played a big role in making my stay enjoyable. Its cleanliness, organization, and relaxing atmosphere created a positive impression and made the experience truly memorable.

Unique property, quite and peaceful

We were staying here because we had an overnight layover. It was very close to the airport and the staff was very responsive on whatsapp and allowed a late check in. The staff at the front desk were VERY helpful, the security guard was also very kind and helpful as well. The room was so comfortable, we slept very well. The AC worked great which was good because it was very hot and humid outside. The shower was also perfect, great temperature and water pressure. I would definitely stay here again.

easy access for food. few steps away to a convenience store, cafe, and restaurant that serves famous local dish (tinu-om). also there's a tatoy's branch near the area as well.

The attendants are really warm and accommodating. The place is just conducive if you want an area with less noise. Plus point is the laundry shop just within the hometel. The location is just near a terminal, so it's accessible to public transportation.

Cleanliness and budget friendly!

Everything in place. The owner is very accomodating. We had no problems encountered. Even their cats are very friendly. They offered us free water refill and their store is cheap. They also serve breakfast for only P150 and it is delicious and filling. Ito ang lugar na babalikan mo talaga.

I like the location since it is near to the bus station and 7/11 is just there below the building. Accessibility is good!
