They greeted us by name, remembered our preferences, and consistently offered genuine smiles and helpful gestures that made us feel like we were coming home each time we stepped through the doors. Their warmth was sincere, and their level of service is unmatched. From the beautifully appointed rooms to the serene spa, delicious dining, and impeccable cleanliness, everything was flawless. The quality and care put into every detail—down to the scent in the lobby, the softness of the linens, and the way the lighting creates such a calming ambiance—was simply exceptional. This was a very luxurious place in our opinion. Beautiful premises. Wonderful attentive owner who spent time just chatting about Portugal in general, so we learned a lot. We couldn’t have asked for better service. We arrived tired and hungry, and that was taken care of immediately. The room was great and the bathroom was wonderful. We had dinner (at an extra cost, of course; it was a very tasty at a very good price). There are some nice sitting areas outside. Breakfast was very good. We would try to make sure we stay here again if we are in the area.

Room- spacious, bright, comfie bed, tasteful decor, stone wall in the room, spacious bathroom, lil balcony to our particular room The grounds are lovely- good sized pool. Lemon trees everywhere. Every morning you awake to roosters crowing , dogs barking and birds tweeting. Sunrise is beautiful ! We were given a lil tour of their personal veggie garden, chicken coop etc. breakfast was in a nice room: scrambled eggs if wanted made from their eggs, buns, ham, cheese, fruits, yogurts, juice, coffee , tea. 8:30-10am The host was super friendly,helpful and kind.

Had the best stay at Terra Rosa, a beautifully serene winery / country home tucked into northern Portugal. The rooms were thoughtfully designed, the breakfasts were lovely, and of course, the pool. Every morning, I went for a run through the vineyard too and it was so invigorating. The staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations, meals, and anything we needed for our ten month old son.

Very clean and organised accommodation for pilgrims. Lovely outside space with sitting areas and views. Communal dining area and kitchen spotlessly clean. Lovely to eat a pilgrim meal with other walkers with wine and olive oil from the farm. Helpful host.

Everything about this house is truly amazing: from the warm hosting to the comfort, great views, and delicious breakfasts. It’s located in a wonderful part of Portugal, perfect to explore many other beautiful and historic places. We enjoyed seasonal fruits from the farm, and walked around the estate where we met the animals, including the sweetest donkeys. The swimming pool was one of the best we’ve experienced in recent years. We loved every moment of our stay and will definitely come back again!
