What a great place to stay! So much history there...and a lot of comfort. We stayed in the Gardener's house. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfy! The staff is amazing and breakfast is beyond good! The garden is worth visiting with so many types of trees...

Having stayed at a couple of hundred places around the world, I am not easily impressed by a place. This apartment was easily one of the nicest places I have stayed in. It starts with the hosts personally meeting you at the check-in and trying to give your stay a personal touch. The apartment itself is very aesthetically decorated and even smells nice with the subtle essence kept at different locations. It is well equipped with a complete kitchen setup, washing machine and comes with a terrace. The bed is very comfortable and there are temperature controls for the various rooms. It is one of the few places which makes you feel like you are at home. Would love to stay here again in the future.

It was beyond incredible. Everyone at Guimagold was so kind and gracious. The apartment is perfect, immaculate, beautifully decorated and so very comfortable. Great bathroom and the kitchen with everything. Love the espresso machine. We will return to beautiful Guimareas and especially Guimagold. Thanks to all for an exceptional stay in a city filled with wonderful sites and great restaurants.

A well done renovation to an old building. The owner also runs a restaurant next door and the food is authentic Guimaraes cuisine. Private gated parking made leaving to explore the nearby attractions pleasant since I did not have to worry about finding parking.

Clean brand new apartment is in a perfect location, right in the center of the town, next to the central square and nextdoor to inexpensive (or even free at certain time) underground parking. Supermarket is very close. New building and a common green area to relax on the ground floor. The apartment has everything for self-catering and is very reasonably priced.
