You can adjust the temperature with a thermostat (electric heating), but you can also light a fire in the fireplace. The kitchenette is equipped with all the necessary utensils. What a lovely place to stay for a few nights with family! The hotel is off the main street, tucked away from the crowds. It’s less than a 5-minute drive from Bran Castle. Unfortunately, you can’t walk to the castle, as there is no sidewalk, so you would have to walk on the road. The breakfast menu was small, but the staff were so nice that they deviated from the menu and took our personalized orders, which was great—especially since they don’t normally accommodate allergies or food restrictions. The rooms are large enough to be comfortable. The mattress was hard, so it took us a few days to adjust—by that time, we had to leave! :) Out of all four rooms we booked, only mine had a balcony, and I don’t think the hotel has too many of these rooms. The view was great from all of them.
