This is a beautiful and well set up guesthouse in a quiet, traditional village. The house was spotless and the family very accommodating and friendly. A gated yard for parking and nice outdoor spaces were a plus. It's just like the photos. I highly recommend it!

The house is clean and cosy, with two bedrooms, one kitchen and one spacious shared bathroom. You can find all you need, if not, you can ask the owner for anything and she will be glad to help you.

The hosts treated us like family, with exceptional warmth and generosity with their time, property, and even special requests. These are people you'd want to be friends with. The location has a splendid garden with hammocks, lighting at night in a bridge over the creek. It has convenient parking and is a 2 minute walk to a small, centuries old castle! The neighborhood is quiet except for charming cows with bells meandering on the road twice a day. They are always improving the property, so by the time you go it will have even more amenities and comforts. You are going to love it!

It's a great location for anyone wanting to visit Retezat National Park, being only 15-20 minutes away by car from Cârnic, the starting point of many hiking trails. The owners are wonderful people who go out of their way to make the experience better for their guests. They also run a small restaurant (punct gastronomic local) on the same premises, serving tasty traditional food for great prices. There's also a small shop where you can stock up on food, drinks and sweets. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, and there's plenty of closet space. Wifi and parking are free..

Relaxing country-side cabins in the hills of Retezat National Park. We used this as a base for hiking trips to the park and the location worked well. There is a well-equipped shared full kitchen. Cabins were clean and comfortable. There are a variety of activities available on site: hammocks, football, and badminton. It is a 5 minute walk to the local gastro-restaurant. The hosts were super friendly and helpful.

The house is close to the national park, 15 minutes by car, in a quite place with no risk of bothering neighbors with loud music. There are two "gastronomic points", at 15 -20 minutes walking, that offer home cooked food. Overall a very good location for the price.
