Hotels with Parking in Gunnarskär

Great place, great price. Everything was perfect

Beautiful location, relatively close to a town with stores, boat available (with e-motor), plenty of things for the kids to discover.

It was lovely - very small but perfect for our needs.

Perfect location, clean hotel, friendly staff, breakfast was delicious. We will be back for sure!

This hotel is located right downtown in walking distance to everything. They served a complementary supper, which was very, very good along with a complementary afternoon snack and breakfast, which had a wide variety to choose from. The beds were comfortable and great hot shower. Nice workout room and pool .. very quaint bar area . This is a stunning hotel with a lot of great history.

Good beds. Secure private parking in basement (ideal for motorcycle travellers).

Fika, evening and breakfast are fantastic. Parking is available.

A quality hotel in a great location

We were treated to a Midsomer traditional surprise in the fridge and had a lovely time barbecuing in the garden while the children were playing!

Amazing breakfast( 3 kind of 🍳🥚, 🥓, cheese 🧀 and so on, fruits, clean and big room, mirror, bathroom with hair dryer. Fast check in and out

This review is for flat number 3, which looks over the inner yard and is on the lower floor. It is a no frills apartment, with limited space, two beds and somewhat outdated, but does-the-trick furniture. The kitchen is equipped with a micro and a filter coffee machine. Coffee was available. There was no milk and a minimum of what former guests had left. You will have to walk a bit to find some food, so if you arrive late, bring your own or order take-out. There is a hair dryer, an iron and board, some shampoo and some soap. Towels are available as are sheets. For 20-25 Euros more you get a boutique-type hotel downtown, including breakfast.

Nice Location and great breakfast.

I booked one night in a cabin to extend our stay in Karlstad – to be honest I wish I had booked this place for all the three days we were there. The cabin was surprisingly large, immaculately clean, well equipped and the kids loved having their own rooms. It was the clear winner of all the places we stayed on this trip, and the coastline within a couple of minutes' walk is lovely with several wild swimming locations. The large terrace with table and chairs was super, too.

We travelled with a dog and really liked that they have special separate rooms for the pets. The room itself was great, nicely designed and very practical. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Very nice, comfortable and quiet hotel, just next to the highway.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The surrounding was amazing with forest and lake view. The facilities were clean and comfortable.

Lovely property on the lake, the host was a kind bloke. Hot tub was worth it definitely recommend

Fantastic location. Outside the city but easy to get to city and park with our car. Also saw that there was good public transport. The hosts were incredibly kind and really went above and beyond the call of duty.

Easily walkable to the downtown. The staff was especially helpful. Thank you to Emil who suggested restaurants and places of interest. The breakfast was amazing, so many choices including homemade granola and rye bread both made in house. The buffet was constantly refreshed. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had a nice counter, shower was excellent. Would stay here again.

It’s a really cosy and quiet place to stay in Carlstad. The lady at the reception is the kindest person I've met in Sweden. The breakfast that she prepared was quite filling as well. The place has a big kitchen and lots of utensils at your disposal. The rooms and lavatories were extremely clean. You can use the public transport or you can just walk to reach the hostel. I personally walked and it’s a walkable distance from the city center. Make sure to bring your own sheets or you can just rent them at the reception. Overall 10/10

Not the first time I stayed here and once again I had a nice couple of days at this B&B. The staff is welcoming and will help you with everything you need. Everything is well maintained and cleanliness is on top. My room was spacious, good lightning with big windows, comfortable bed and very quiet. A good breakfast in the morning (serve yourself) gets you started and of course you will find something for fika as well. Nearby you can find a little beach and walking patch along the river, public transport, supermarkets and it is just a couple of minutes of walking to the city center. Already looking forward to my next stay at Solakoop B&B.

breakfast was excellent didn't have time to experience the pool
