The apartment is clean, new and has everything one needs for a short stay. I stayed in a groundfloor apartment that has a big terrace with a fence all around the house - something that is especially appreciated when you travel with a dog. Definitely hope to be back some time!

I stayed in the small guest cottage behind the main house and really enjoyed it. The cottage is cozy but well laid out, bright, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well. The kitchenette was well equipped with cooking oil, salt and pepper, spices, tea and coffee, and even fresh eggs from the owners' chickens. The bathroom was a good size with a walk-in shower. The property itself is beautiful and extremely well maintained, with flowers, fruit trees, and a lovely lawn, all surrounded by views of the Alps. There is an outdoor patio with a BBQ/griddle, a picnic area, and lounge chairs. The cottage has east-facing windows, and I enjoyed watching the evening light paint the Alps. The owners were wonderful: kind, welcoming, and very responsive. The owner offered to wash my clothes and let me use the outdoor clothesline, which I greatly appreciated. I was traveling solo and felt extremely safe here, even outside at 2 a.m. watching shooting stars. The cottage also has a lockbox for valuables. I was delighted to discover a fruiting pawpaw tree. As a Virginian with pawpaw trees at home, that was an unexpected little piece of home in Slovenia! The cottage was a convenient base for exploring the Soča Valley. I enjoyed Gostilna Pri Mostu in Srpenica, just down the main road toward Bovec, where I had mushroom soup and walnut štruklji. In downtown Bovec, I especially liked Real Food Bovec, a wonderful little bakery where I had cheese-filled burek. The dedicated parking space was easy to use once I knew how to reach the property. I really enjoyed the peaceful setting and would gladly return!

The rooms are clean and cozy - the design is top notch. The bathroom is excellent with a large shower and good water pressure which is frequently difficult to find. Bed is excellent for a good night sleep and the breakfast in the morning follows suit. Haven't tried dining in the hotel restaurant but the cake and dessert offering was very good. Parking is easy in front of the hotel.
