From the moment we arrived at Zanzi Soul Boutique Resort, we knew we had found something extraordinary. Owners Alin and Ana are not just running a hotel—they’re hosting you with the warmth and care of old friends who genuinely want you to feel at home and enjoy every moment. They strike the perfect balance of kindness and respect, giving you space to relax while still making you feel looked after in every detail. I visited with my 3‑year‑old daughter, and she was treated like royalty. The team welcomed her with so much warmth and patience, making her feel like a little princess—which as any parent knows, makes all the difference. The food was beyond amazing: fresh seafood that melts in your mouth, perfectly brewed coffee, fresh‑baked breads, pancakes, and an array of dishes prepared with love. Every meal was bursting with flavor and far more reasonably priced than most of the island. Breakfast alone could win awards for how fresh and comforting it is. The property itself is peaceful, serene, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed. It has this effortlessly chic yet chill vibe that instantly puts you at ease. Add in the breathtaking view and the calm, respectful atmosphere, and you have the perfect setting to truly unwind. We spent five nights here and I could have chosen any hotel on the island—but I am so glad I chose this one. Alin and Ana are absolute gems, making it their mission to turn their guests’ dreams into reality. I would return again and again because this isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience you carry with you long after you’ve left. If you’re looking for a boutique resort that’s soulful, welcoming, and unforgettable, Zanzi Soul is the one.

We had an amazing experience at Alma for 4 nights. The hotel facilities are beautiful, with lots of activities both on and off property. We made use of the pool table, darts, pool, gym, spa, kayaks, dhow boat, and more. The food was amazing, and it was so nice to have breakfast and dinner included, no need to worry about finding a place to eat. The menu was large, so even though we were there for 4 nights, we were not bored. The staff are amazing, super attentive and personable. A true gem of a hotel in Zanzibar.

Literally everything. I felt very disconnected from the outside would as if I was living in the middle of a magical garden. The amazing couple that own the place made our stay wholesome and very much memorable. Love you guys and miss you already. The staaffff amazing amazing amazing. Food was out of this world.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful beachfront location! The views were absolutely stunning, and it was so relaxing to wake up to the sound of the waves. The staff really made the experience even better — they were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to help with anything we needed. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the drinks are highly recommended. Everything was perfect ! I would definitely stay here again.
