Everything was wonderful, and the magic making it such a spectacular stay was Brendan, the host himself. Not only were we warmly welcomed, he assisted us in many other ways too, making our time spent in this town in Cat Skills area enjoyable. The property has a front porch and I must say the eye for detail in the decorations (both indoors and outdoors) is impeccable! Even though the building is over a 100 years old, it has been well refurbished yet they manage to keep the authenticity of the design and furnishings intact. There is also a living room with a fireplace, great to sink onto the sofa (and enjoy a book if you like reading). The room is also lovely, with thick luxurious towels and toiletries. The room came well equipped with hot water boiler, including microwave oven. The bed was packed with extravagant pillows, cushions, beddings, so we slept very well too. As we visited in the week of Halloween, we were invited to join the joyous fun spirit of a costume party in the host's neighborhood. Brendan and partner had also won the top prize in the pumpkin creative competition. What a memorable time ! Even though when I booked the stay, there was no mention of breakfast, the property nonetheless offered a table of breakfast cereals, breads, with your hot beverages like coffee/tea/chocolate, with yoghurt and milk in the fridge.

Beautiful and quiet home. House was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. Hot tub was great and wood stove was perfect for the winter nights. Great hiking in the area. Matan was communicative and fast to respond to any questions. Would return when visiting the area!

The breakfast every day was delicious! Our family loved the steam room, the gym and the game room. The suite was perfect for our family of four. Our twins took turns sleeping on the day bed and the pull out couch. The steam room was perfect after a day of skiing. The view was gorgeous as well.
