Check In & Out was fast and easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. The breakfast had a wide variety to choose from for anyones dietary needs.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Orland, Alamoosook Lakeside Inn Orland is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the lake.

The place is a hidden gem. Great comfortable rooms, exceptional views of the lakeside location, true nature around, night sky with starts is amazing thanks to no light pollution around. The fireplace in the lobby just lovely - spent all my 3 nights there chilling. But the most adorable are the owners - they really care and made me feel like I belong there. The breakfast food was in fact home made; though I'm not a fan of american-diner-style cusine, this was something special and I was surprised by the variety offered. And the bar, of course. You can truly feel that this place is run with great love. Totally recommend and will go there again if visiting Maine next time. And yes, in summer, canoe and boat rides are offered!

A very well run hotel. From checking in to checking out, the whole staff seems to be focused on doing a good job. Breakfast, which can go off the wheels real quick, moved along without a hitch. Good selection of food items. Cheese is kept in the refrigerator. Utensils are single use, and the dispensers are mounted on different walls.

So welcoming upon arrival! Every staff I encountered were awesome! The room and common areas were spotless! The morning breakfast was amazing and full of choices. Hot fresh real food! It was quiet and close enough to lots of Bangor Shopping. And spotless clean….simply amazing value!

I like that when I asked about getting an adjoining room for myself and my daughter, even though they were booked to the max and couldn't do it the person who checked us in found a way to put us side by side.
