Everything! We were met by the owner/manage as we drove up. She took one look at my 6ft 6in frame and said, "I can upgrade your room for you." I expected an extra charge, but she said it would be complimentary because she wasn't full for the night. After I asked about nearby restaurants she gave us a list with her recommendations clearly marked and with each location marked on a map. Our room was well appointed with everything you could need. If you are looking for excellent accommodations at a very reasonable price, check out the Golden West.

I was looking for a simple clean room to sleep for a night while on a long drive. That’s what I got, the room was clean, smelled nice, was freshly painted and had a tiled shower. Awesome.

Everything that you care about in a hotel room was nice — we had enough blankets, the heat was great, ample towels, a shower that genuinely got hot. It’s not matchy-matchy like a chain hotel, but who cares? The manager was incredibly thoughtful and kind. Admittedly, the bed was a bit uncomfy, but you can’t really complain at that price. The room had a full sized fridge and kitchen, which came in handy because we were returning from an out of state trip where we stayed at an Airbnb, and so had a lot of leftover stuff to refrigerate. And the shower, oh man, the shower was phenomenal.

Great price… clean… extra amenities in the kitchen as well as everything you need from TP, paper towels, laundry detergent. Great communication from the host. Felt very safe.

AC worked great. The home is comfortable without clutter. Natural sunlight pours in through the windows. We rented both units on the property and asked to have the door lock between units removed for ease. Response was speedy -- someone came to do this for us within an hour.

This apartment is in a super cute historic building. It is clean and well kept. The hallways smell a bit musky but not the apartment. Inside was an updated interior with modern touches throughout and every amenity you could want. It was all coordinated and thoughtful and made us feel right at home.

The apartment is in a historic, old building. The location is top, in the center of town. The apartment has nice details. The property has an electronic door lock. We arrived very early and the caretaker went out of his way to help us. We could store our luggage and he was able to let us in early. He went above and beyond to help us out. Responded right away to calls and text messages when we needed him.
