What a cute motel! We slept very well, it was quiet (we were in one of the last rooms in the carpark in the corner). The bed was very comfortable. There was tea and coffee in the main reception area a 30sec walk away. You are right in the middle of the small town. Go to Jake's bar! A very cool little town with western film history and even john wayne stayed at this motel. There are rooms in the main building and then bigger rooms I think in the outdoor motel bit so if you are particular, ask when booking. There was a pool but was winter and we didn't use.

Lone Pine is in the heart of cowboy country and the Alabama Hills make this location wonderful and special. Locals are nice, food is fine, the hotel has a great historic vibe, cosy common areas, lots of extra features like non-stop free coffee, TV, board games. Staff was helpful and nice. The pool is also 24/7 open.

Cute animal tracks in cement. Bathrooms were clean and nice, decor fit together. A/C was super powerful and really cooled down the room.

Both Wifi and private parking are available at Cozy Muir Cottage - In Town - Pet Friendly free of charge.

Easy access to Mt Whitney. The outside decor was welcoming. The room was very clean and they provided complimentary snacks that were really good.
