Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 1 night for a wedding close by… We could come and go anytime, as they had a 24h guard at the gate. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with funky and pretty decor. Exquisite views from the rooms and dining area. Outside swimming pool available. Highly recommended.

Hardy and Stefanie are very accommodating and great hosts. They gave us many tips on places to find good restaurants, wine and Stefanie volunteers at a local charity to bring hope and opportunity to the impoverished children in the Kylemore environs. Simply stated they are wonderful examples of caring people. We were so touched by their philanthropy that we decided to donate to aitsa.org. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and I especially loved the fruit salad bowl each morning. Beds were very comfortable and the duvets are heated. Orangeville is on 2 hectares of land (~5 acres) with a swimming pool and plenty of secure space to roam. Finally, there was a variety of proteas in the dining area. NB Stefanie knows a lot about these indigenous flowers. It was great value for the money.

This is a marvellous property in the middle of the vineyards with breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding the wine lands! Top notch accommodation with spacious and elegant rooms, amazing common spaces (we stayed at the impressive River Manor Lodge) and breakfast with mesmerising views! The staff are doing everything they can to go the extra mile! The property is ideally located on the main road between Stellenbosch/Fransschoek/Paarl, hence an ideal position to explore the region! Do not miss an opportunity to stay there!

What a haven of peace right next to Simonsberg. Once you're on the premises you're in a different place. Everything about the house, the garden and the scenery exudes calm and peace. The room (n°3) we were at had a little bathroom with a shower. The bed was comfortable and there is a lot of natural light in the room. The breakfast was fantastic!

This place is incredible. The scenery is spectacular - it’s the most beautiful part of the most beautiful part of the world. The cottage itself is also beautifully designed and decorated, and has absolutely anything you need for a VERY comfortable stay. It is luxurious while at the same time homely and welcoming, making our stay very relaxing. There is so much to do in and around Stellenbosch, but if you stay here you won’t want to leave the property. The manager/host is also very friendly and helpful, so we felt very welcome.
