We had a wonderful stay at Maskam Guesthouse in Vanrhynsdorp as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). The cottage was private, neat, and perfect for a peaceful night’s stay. Our host was absolutely brilliant – warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious and such a treat before hitting the road again. We also loved browsing their selection of preserves – we took some home, and they’re fantastic! Highly recommend this gem for anyone passing through the area.

Wow! This exceeded my expectations. The owner have us both a room to ourselves without charging. The price was great. The location was beautiful. The owner & dogs were extremely friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. A perfect place to stay.

The location of cottage Sonheuval was exceptional, totally alone, over-looking gorgeous mountains, with sheep all over! Ingrid very kindly let us check-in early & we didn't want to leave! Very well equipped, & so many small & kind touches everywhere. Just loved it!

We were a little worried as we booked on a very short notice and there were no reviews. This is a beautiful place run by fabulous hosts. The room is beautifully decorated, super clean, and very well equipped. Highly recommended. 10/10.
