Upon arrival, we were surprised to have an upgrade as Mrs Maya was generous enough to give us a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment with the most amazing view!! Fantastic Finnish Sauna with real stone, very plush and quality feel of the property. Our apartment/suite had everything that we needed and more so short or long stays will be super comfy. The staff was very hospitable, kind and thoughtful. Absolutely want to visit the property again soon, could go on and on about the place.

Family-run since 1654, Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain enjoys a quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests, only 250 metres from the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain and a 10-minute drive from Salzburg. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it: the view, the surrounding forest and plains with tracks and bike lanes, excellent breakfast with lots of options, the service, the staff, not too pushy, but there if you needed anything, the quiet nights, the fact that there is no music at the restaurant and you can actually hear and feel the nature around you. The rooms are spotless, spacious, with everything you need, same in the bathroom.
