Location, location, location: We had looked for a combination of hotel and winery in walking distance to each other, and this one ticked all the boxes: you can easily walk over to Chateau Tanunda in about 15mins (and others are walkable too, if you don't mind walking 30-40mins). The hotel is part of a pub/restaurant - but the rooms are really surprising: completely new, with a rain shower, quite spacious and quiet (this being a Monday maybe, could be louder on a Friday evening). We also enjoyed the restaurant and a glass of wine on the front porch. There's ample parking in the back. Didn't see any breakfast options, but this was rare on our trip anyways - there's a bakery nearby to help you out.

Beautiful, renovated, heritage, building with everything we needed for a few days in the Barrosa. Comfortable bed, generous breakfast supplies and a short walk from restaurants and cafes in Tanunda. We really enjoyed our stay.

Matatagpuan 19 km mula sa Big Rocking Horse, ang accommodation ay naglalaan ng hardin at libreng private parking. I have found many wonderful properties through booking.com -- but this may be the best in terms of location & comfort. Wonderful welcoming details such as rugs on the sofa. Peter even made us pizza! So welcome after a long, cross day travelling. Loved it!and left making promises to come back ....

Ang Mataro Cottage ay matatagpuan sa Tanunda, 47 km mula sa Big Rocking Horse, at nagtatampok ng patio, hardin, at libreng WiFi. The cottage was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. There were lots of useful extra's such as milk, tea and coffee. It was located near the centre of Tanunda and we stayed for two nights, but wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely spacious home away from home, the decor, furniture and every little item and detail (the air conditioning being on & welcoming us on a hot day) that was provided by Louise was very much appreciated. From the Tim Tams to the generous refreshment and toiletries supplies, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and could quite easily have stayed much longer.
