While I was on business with limited time to relax, it was a blessing to contemplate the gentle snowfall and sit after hectic conference days going through several of the great books present in the living room and bedroom for a nice relaxing and instructive read. Even so, make no mistake as this is not just an apartment: it is set on a fully-serviced hotel, whose excellent staff provided the exceptional care of upscale hotel service: highly attentive to one's needs, and aptly fulfilling them with utmost professionalism, which is highly appreciated. This place encapsulates the quality and rigor of a grand hotel packaged in a discrete, cozy boutique hotel, a home away from home. The flexibility and independence of fully equipped accommodations with the exceptional service and care of professional hoteliers. At this place, I found a well integrated solution that meets the best of both hotel and apartment/home concepts. The beds were beautifully made and there was a small bar of chocolate for each of us. Thierry's mother was there to receive us and she was an excellent hostess and provided us with maps for the metro and trams. The house is extremely charming, the views from the room are beautiful, the street is charming and we had no trouble getting around Bruxelles. I wish we had more time.
