The location is peaceful and beautiful, right next to the H. R. Giger museum and in the heart of the old village of Gruyeres. The accommodation is very spacious for two people to live very comfortably and the kitchenette was well equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner.

Bed & Breakfast Region Murtensee er staðsett í Münchenwiler, 5 km frá Murten, 25 km frá Bern og 13 km frá Fribourg. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Very clean. Great terrace. Super delicious breakfast at a reasonable price was served to our room. The host was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

There is a hiking path to the lake of Murten just underneath the hotel. 20 minutes drive to Papiliorama, if you want to be there early. The best is to be at Papiliorama as soon as it opens in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
