Situated only 2 km from Pukará de Quitor ruins, Hotel La Casa de Don Tomás offers accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama. The staff was extremely friendly and genuinely eager to help — this was a real highlight of our stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and housekeeping was consistently excellent. The free laundry service for stays longer than five nights was a great benefit. The restaurant is also very good, with tasty food, good variety, and fair prices.

We loved our stay at CKOI Atacama. The staff were amazing from start to finish. They were warm and very knowledgable about things to do in Atacama., They provided us with great recommendations for hikes, sightseeing, and restaurants. The room was excellent. we sound it to be spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had a lovely outdoor seating area that we enjoyed very much. The pool area was very nice - our kids enjoyed the llamas and we enjoyed the peacefulness and serenity. The restaurant at the lodge was excellent and we enjoyed our breakfast too. The walk to down was very easy. Just a few minutes and we were in the heart of San Pedro.

Very comfortable bed with good linen, new fixtures in the bathroom, plenty of hot water, very clean and quiet. Besides a filling breakfast, there's a kitchenette available with microwave and stove if you wanted to prepare your own meals. The host, Erwin, is helpful and friendly. It's a short 10 minute walk to the town main street over mostly paved surface.
