Amazing local hotel / homestay for a quick retreat. Location: slightly out of central town in Yangshou (5min drive). Personally this is exactly what we wanted, a mini retreat to relax. Several restaurants including a restaurant built into a cave right nearby. Rooms: we stayed in a mountain view king room which was awesome, 'instragrammable', spacious with big bathtub, adjustable AC, and projector tv. It was very clean and modern with top to bottom glass windows so you wake to a beautiful view of mountains. Staff: This isn't a chain or resort, so the service is more personable. You'll become acquainted with them in no time. Promptly responded to WeChat messages. Very friendly and extremely accommodating. We had a issue when we first checked in with some construction noise - which the staff immediately addressed and this was greatly appreciated. Food: 'Western' style restaurant serving comfort food which was good and honestly a nice pace chance having travelled china for several weeks now. Cafe: perhaps one of the highlights is the treehouse cafe on level 5 - which has stunning views and great coffee. Value: room was on the expensive side compared to other places we stayed in China, albiet we booked the most expensive room type. We definitely got what we paid for. Other: the pool was out of service during most of our stay but personally this isn't something we'd use anyway. they also assisted us to use the laundry which was great as laundries seem hard to find in mainland China. Throughout our time here, we only had to leave the hotel once really, to go watch the Impressions show. Everything else was well catered to by the hotel or it's near surroundings. Would strongly recommend staying here during your visit to Yangshou, especially if you're looking for a place to get some rest and recovery.

Dreamland Inn er staðsett í Yangshuo, 6 km frá Yangshuo South-rútustöðinni og 6,6 km frá Darongshu-útsýnissvæðinu. Boðið er upp á garð og fjallaútsýni. Lovely big room with an amazing view and great location, only about 10 minutes walk from the pier where you can take rafts down Yulong river. Good breakfast and really lovely people that helped us with everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend!

Serene Vale Inn Guilin-Free One Way pick-up services to High-speed Railway Station for 2 Nights er staðsett í Guilin, 1,1 km frá Reed Flute Cave og býður upp á garð, veitingastað og fjallaútsýni. Lovely location in an old village close to the mountains and cave. Village has a couple of shops, cafes and restaurants. Only 15 minutes from the stations and city center. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially towards our young children, which made us feel very welcome.

Maggie, the owner, was amazing! She helped us with everything! She and her facility/structure deserve a lot... Can't wait to visit Guilin again and I can definetely say I'll come back to Boujour Hotel. There's a plus as well, next to the hotel there is an excellent restaurant. They make many fresh homemade dish, and trust me if I say tha was good since with me there was a friend of mine who works like a Chef in Italy. Maggie thank you again, hopefully to be abck soon. If you are a pet lover this place is for you. You will meet ZaiZai the dog and all his cat friends. Moreover you're gonna be kindly welcomed by the hostess who will provide all the information you may need. The hotel is in the middle of the main ancient street and the rooms are very well decorated. There's a garden for the sunny days too, and the hostess makes a very tasty coffe. We can only recommend this charming place!

Lakeside Inn Guilin Central er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu, veitingastað og bar í Guilin. The environment of the hostel was also good, but the owner and wife were very kind and wonderful. He always cared about me and gave me a lot of advice. I was able to spend every day with peace of mind. I'm going to stay again!
