The days in this homestay place of Mia's family was the highlight of our vacation in China. It was even one of the most wonderful vacations experiences I have ever had in my life. The family is so warmhearted and helpful. Mia’s father picked us up from the airport and drove us home to the little village SanBaoCun. Later that day, Mia took us around the village and showed us around: We went to the top of a mountain enjoying a great view and saw local people gathering fresh water for the perfect tea. Mia also gave us recommendations for the best restaurants in the area. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby. We also made a wonderful day-trip together with another guest, visiting ancient towns, tea plantations and old government buildings of the Tang Dynasty - everything organized by Mia. Each night when going to sleep I was already looking forward to the breakfast the next morning: We would get specialty coffee served as espresso or cappuccino along with a lovingly decorated breakfast table with local food. Fantastic. We could even book a tea ceremony with Mia who introduced my wife, daughter and me to the secrets of the local tea leaves and customs. If that wasn't enough Mia also helped us finding the best places for pottery and museums according to our wishes. We spent two full days doing self-made pottery and glassblowing artwork... I am so than thankful for this experience. I could have stayed much longer and highly recommend this outstanding homestay place.

It has a meticulously arranged garden, and a very calm atmosphere. The house itself is a piece of history but the rooms keep a superb standard and are very clean. We ended up having most of our meals here simply because it was the best one in the village and they choose for you. They have a good selection of wines, also fine europeans. Although we settled for the local rice wine which was delicious and goes well with the food. Moreover, our contact person, Yuki, helped us with all the arrangements for transportation to and from the train station in addition to getting us to the mountains. Finally, everyone in the staff are super sweet and respectful. We felt so welcome and all our needs were taken care of.
