I love it that the hotel is in a historic building and the location is incredible. It is right in the heart of Nanping Pedestrian Street and Flower market. Lots of activities the moment we stepped the hotel. A-star for cleanliness. The staff will brew a nice herbal tea and a bowl of fruits, which is a very nice touch.

The hotel is located near the old town and easily contacted by wechat, the owner is friendly and responded us very quickly. You can book car service to pick up from airport here with reasonable price. The same with tours around the city such as trip to Snow Moutain, Lugu lake,.... Room is nice, clean, and warm with air-conditioner, hair dryer, shampoo and everything else, I don't need to bring any of those with me in this trip. Especially if you love cake, try the rose cake from the hotel. It is so good I have to ask the owner to order for me to bring home as gift. They offer better prices than you go buy it yourself out in the old town. To sum up, it was a very pleased experience with Gemmer Hotel and Lijiang Old Town.

The accommodation provides self-service free laundry as well. The room is clean, spacious and heating system works well. Location is very strategic in the ancient town. Please contact the staff upon your arrival so that she can arrange the porter for your luggages.
