I’m not surprised by the high reviews — the photos show exactly how it is. The place has a calm vibe, great breakfast and coffee, and a garden full of life. The night tour was amazing, with red-eyed and glass frogs. We didn’t see a sloth in the garden but did at Mistico Park and at the hosts’ farm, where we ate fresh rambutans! We didn’t feel like a tourist here but part of the family. Truly memorable stay. Thank you Leo and Rosaura!

Boasting an outdoor pool and a hot tub, La Finca Lodge is located in Fortuna, 35 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Complimentary WiFi is available. La FInca Lodge is a perfect place to calm down and relax on the countryside. The rooms are huge and have a big bathroom and a nice hammock to forget about your everyday life. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and had many recommendations for activities in the area. Breakfast was delicious and served on a nice outdoor terrace. The property of the finca itself is huge, there is a lot to explore. A highlight outside the finca were the blue falls, which were recommended to us by one of the staff members.

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. The hotel was situated in a quiet area of town, but was still super close to all the restaurants, bars and attractions. Staff were incredibly helpful and organised a taxi for us from the airport and to the waterfall one day. The room was big and clean with good air con. The outside area was also lovely, with an amazing view and the gardens are super pretty - attracting lots of birds - a highlight for us was seeing the hummingbird from the breakfast table every day - we loved it!

San Bosco Inn is located in downtown La Fortuna, so it's easy to move around. Staff were always friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is included, so take advantage of the buffet. If the sky is clear, you will have an amazing view of El Arenal volcano.

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal... The trails were a huge plus, my husband and I had the best time hiking around the property and seeing all the waterfalls.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Landscaping was excellent, pools are nicely done and breakfast was very good.

Very good hostel, clean and well located. The service was excellent, especially from Paola, who was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommended.
