The place is very relaxing and I kindly suggest you if you need a break from the city and from your life:) I’ll come back for sure in Jaco and once there I’ll stay again in hotel Amavi, for sure! Ah last but not least, price are very affordable !

Hotel was a short stroll into the centre and we could see parrots (or Macaw’s) in the trees opposite as we were facing the road. Giselle and her team were exceptional and very kind. Only stayed one night but would happily have stayed another if we were spending more time in Jaco.

The hotel offers many on-site activities, from ziplining to jungle night walks. We took the Nature Reserve tour, and our guide José was fantastic. During the tour, we spotted three sloths, monkeys, macaws, and toucans.
