This traditional hotel is a former brewery complex in the heart of Beilngries. The Schattenhofer Braugasthof offers spacious, newly renovated (2022) rooms as well as an on-site sauna. Nice hotel and restaurant in an old brewery. They still make the beer, in the next building. You can taste the beer and very good food in the restaurant.

We have stayed in the attic apartment. The owners are two sisters with a very kind heart. They have many dogs and few cats, they have rescued some of them, if you are animal lover then you would love their company. Rogling is a small town surrounded by plenty of hiking route around the nature. We have visited Harburg castle which within 30mins drive from the apartment.

We so enjoyed our stay here! The beds were SO comfortable; better than those we have at home. The apartment was well-stocked and had everything we needed to properly self-cater our meals. There was a tea chest with a great variety and it was fun picking a different one to try every day. Also notable was the availability of cleaning supplies (e.g. garbage bags and spray) and tools (e.g. vacuum and mop) -- what a happy relief! It was SO nice to be able to be able to clean up a bit after meals, especially during a longer stay. We enjoyed hearing the old town church bells. Lots of light in the apartment. There's a bakery and a grocery store steps away. Excellent communication with host. We hope to come back!

Excellent accommodation for Challenge Roth, the room was very comfortable, clean, with a lake view, there was a secured bike garage and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hosts were friendly and the whole weekend was perfect.

The breakfast was wonderful, with a great variety of food, all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
