I had a wonderful stay at Fano Kroogard. This is lovely waterside boutique hotel on the island of Fano. It is perfectly situated on the North side of the island. It is 5 minutes by walk from the ferry and 20 minutes by bike to the beach, with bikes available to rent on site. The whole property has a calm and cozy ambience. There is a reading nook on the main floor, and a terrace overlooking the waterfront. The decor is so well done with so much attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. If you manage to get a suite overlooking the water, you’ll be able to take in the wildlife of the Wadden sea, and see seals out your window. There is a restaurant on the main floor that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a hotel guest, the breakfast in the morning is a choice between several local inspired dishes. I had several different meals at the restaurant and every time the food was delicious. For lunch they offer traditional open sandwiches and for dinner several vergetable and seafood entrees. The restaurant is clearly a favourite spot on the island among locals, as it was always full. Above all, the staff is so lovely and they made my stay extra special. They upgraded me to a lovely room with a seaside view and provided excelled recommendations of things to do on the island. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

We have been there before, and it's hard to complain about a modern room, 10 floors up, with a stunning view. The only downside is that it's not cheap to stay there, it's quite pricey.

Horses, llamas and ostriches are among the variety of animals living on the Øst Trøgelborg Farm Holiday site. We spent three wonderful nights here while visiting Legoland and Lego House, and it was pure magic! Traveling from Copenhagen was a breeze—trains and local buses made it super easy to reach this charming retreat. (We did not want a car on this trip!) When the bus dropped us off, we wondered if we were in the right place, as we walked down a beautiful dirt road lined with wheat. It added to the adventure, even if one suitcase gave us a bit of trouble! The owner was incredibly kind, offering to drive us into town and to the airport for a small fee, which made our stay even more special. The grounds are exceptional, bursting with fun for kids..soccer goals, trampoline, animals, ping pong table, little bikes to drive around, etc We found ourselves wishing we had spent more time here instead of in Copenhagen. We would return in a heartbeat! Truly, we couldn't suggest a thing to improve this lovely place. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!
