Located in Riobamba, 14 km from San Andrés, Casa de Mármol provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. Irma have such a warm welcome to Casa de Marmol, and really went above and beyond to make sure my visit in Riobamba was fantastic. Warm, friendly and helpful. They helped set me up with a tour to hike and bike at Chimborazo, and provided great recommendations for what to see and where to eat in town. Room was comfortable, and the bed cosy. I didn’t use, but there was also some comfy shared spaces for relaxing at the end of the day.

Marco the owner is an incredible person, the hotel is perfect, comfortable and nice. Definitely is the place to stay in Alausí.

Located on the foothill of Chimborazo Volcano, Chimborazo Lodge offers rooms with heating in Chimborazo Natural reserve. There is a restaurant, and free parking is provided. Riobamba is 36 km away. Chimborazo Lodge twins a remote and otherworldly location with absolute luxury inside - roaring fires, huge panes of glass to make the most of the views, extremely friendly staff and excellent food. The lodge and all the surrounding buildings are full of climbing memorabilia, hunting trophies and old photos of mountain climbers that give the place an aura of adventure. While we weren't undertaking a climb of Chimborazo - the views were enough for us - many of the other guests seemed to be. Oh, and the Lodge is surrounded by alpacas, and hummingbirds are everywhere!

Set in a country-style house with elegant Colonial décor, Abraspungo has rooms with free Wi-Fi in Riobamba. Hotel Hacienda Abraspungo has Spanish galleries that open to the garden. It was amazing. The room was clean and spacious. The overall place was really good, the breakfast was nice, they even started a bonfire for us with marshmallows.
