The facilities and their condition are excellent!. I am as very impressed with the attention to detail and how fully setup my suite was. I stayed in the deluxe suite with sea views. It was outstanding! Each year I stay in over approximately 80 different hotels and this was one of the best ! Hence I highly recommend it. To the extent, that I actually changed a busy future itinerary, so that I could stay an extra night ! Can't remember the last time I did that ! Eva and the team who run the lodge were also exceptional. Don't look anywhere else , stay here and if possible in this Deluxe Suite, but the other rooms also looked excellent ! The pools ( yes two of them), and the surrounding courtyard is a great place to relax. This is where I ate the most delicious breakfasts, including fresh natural juices. Also, the lodge was so peaceful & quiet, yet only a short stroll to the busy main beach street for restaurants & bars. Enjoy !

Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Beautifully decorated room with extremely comfortable beds and a fabulous shower with great pressure and plenty of hot water. Rooms has quality fixtures and had been done to a higher standard than we've often found in Ecuador with lots of nice little touches. There is also a gorgeous shaded terrace upstairs which is ideal for lazing and relaxing or playing games. Breakfast varied each day we were there but had great coffee (latte, cappuccino, etc.), juice, fresh fruit, eggs and pancakes, Bollas or a kind of cake made of potato and perhaps bacon. Don't know for sure, but they were great. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, happy to give advice or help. Room was cleaned daily. Enjoyed the quiet location far enough from the bars to be quiet at night and close enough to be there in minutes. Close to a quieter beautiful stretch of beach for relaxing, although we heard there may be rip tides there. FYI, if you wish to pay via credit card, they use Tab, an external app. You will be sent an email, and you click on a link and pay. The app charges a flat $1 plus 2.99%, which is far lower than what most places charge. Alternatively you can pay by cash, although they do require the first day up front.
