Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and made sure to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms were spacious and very airy with nice views in a quiet area. In house restaurant with very good Egyptian breakfast.

Lovely guesthouse, the beds were the most comfortable in Egypt, the owner gave us great recommendations for dinner close by, the included breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were spacious. The whole guesthouse was done very well and the decor was superb. The family owners were lovely.

Attentive staff, very kind people who make you feel like home from the very first minute. Gorgeous view! Delicious breakfast. Booked taxi and guide- seemed fair price and very well executed. Family animal far just around the corner where our daughters could pet goats, rabbits, donkey (even riding!)... family living there producing exqusite honey! we've tried and, offered us also welcome tea... simple but big heart people! Nice stroll by the area around the canal... Unique experience of real life rural Luxor.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Peace garden hostel. Amar is the best host ever and one of the very few kind people I’ve met in Egypt. I felt so safe and comfortable at his place. As a solo traveller, this means a lot to be safe and worries free. All the staff at the hotel are very nice and friendly and made me feel welcoming all the time. Amar even drove me to the downtown by his car for exchanging money, buying train tickets and helped me book the tours at good price. Oh and the meals at the hotel are incredible. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price of accomodation and they served the best food ever, homemade meals in restaurant style. It tasted much better than the restaurant I had in town and meals were changed everyday. The hotel is extremely clean. It’s the most cleanest accommodation I’ve been to. I had to say I saw them clean the floor every 20mins. Very well organized and beautifully decorated with lots of vintage stuff. It’s a peaceful place indeed! The room & bed is also comfortable, I had a very good sleep. Highly highly recommended!!! Thank you very much Amar and the team ❤️ I’ll be back one day.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a warm and genuine experience.
