Korpikelo - Warm Wood and Enchanted Forest: A log cabin in a fairy-tale forest. We found ourselves living in a very welcoming, warm, and comfortable place. The owners are people who genuinely care for their guests; everything is well-maintained, and everything works seamlessly, from the sauna to the heating, the fireplace, the furnishings, and all other amenities. For the beauty of the surroundings and the magic of the forest, I thank the creator, and for the well-being, care, and the warm welcome of the cabin, I thank the owners. We had a great time and were even fortunate enough to witness a stunning aurora!

We loved our stay here. The room was warm and cozy. There is a small living area for the rooms to use which is very cosy and relaxing. There is a boiler available for guests to use (with tea and coffee) in the living room, which was nice! The accommodation is located very conviently walking distance to everything in Akaslompolo (restaurants, lake, supermarket, nature trails) and I loved coming back every evening to the cosy space. We had a car and had free parking behind the house. The kitchen is not available for guests to cook meals, but they lent us cutlery and cups for us to occasionally make some instant soup/noodles for dinner. Breakfast was served very nicely and shared with the other guests. They were also accommodating for vegan diets with cheese, cold cut and milk alternatives. They offer a lot of activities as well for anyone who would like to partake.

TaloYlläs is a fantastic place to stay, particularly in winter. All of the rooms have a certain level of charm as they are adorned with miscellaneous items from Äkäslompolo. Joni the host gives you a solid run down of how things are setup. The sauna is great, you can book a time to use it, it's clean, modern and private. When the lake is frozen it's quicker to get to the main part of town instead of walking around the outside. Some snow gear is available at the accomodation too, you can use the Kick Sledge or the Snowshoes as you see fit which is fantastic. I saw some places that rent Snowshoes for 15 Euro Per Day, so having these around to use when you see fit is handy. Toilets also have a handheld bidet which is a win!

Matatagpuan 38 km mula sa Kolari Train Station, nasa Ylläs ang Ylläs Chalet 8208 at mayroon ng restaurant at BBQ facilities. This is our 2nd time staying in Chalet 8208 and we are already planning to comeback in 2026. Everything clean, kitchen very well equipped and great location. The staff who answered the messages our very nice and fast to answer.

The landscape is a fairytale one, the views from the cabin, breathtaking. The restaurant is a 5 star one, all in all, perfect!

Lodge 67°N Lapland is located in the centre of Äkäslompolo and at the foot of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Free WiFi and parking are available. Fabulous hosts and a very cosy lodge, nicely decorated and with comfortable bed and nice outlook from the verandah

Offering 5 log cottages by Ylläs Mountain, Tunturioravat is a 5-minute walk from central Äkäslompolo. All cottages have wooden interiors, free Wi-Fi access and a private sauna. We had an absolutely perfect stay. The apartment was spotless, very cosy, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We felt at home right away. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
