It was our stopover between England and Scotland, and it didn't disappoint. Set in a quaint little town, this inn is right in the heart of it all. The rooms were perfectly cozy and comfortable, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. We spend two nights there, and they couldn’t be better Everything was spot on, breakfast, personal, location, room, etc… Great hospitality

Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. Barely a 5 minute walk down to the lakeside, with plenty bars and food places to choose from nearby

Located in Ambleside, 9.1 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The Staff are so Friendly. The room was a good size at the front. Loved the pool area and outside Jacuzzi which I only just learned was hot!!! Food Amazing. Love Manuel! He rec my haddock brekkie and was perfect. Comfy lounge bar.Booked again for December!!!
