When we arrived, we were both amazed because of the lobby. The view is spectacular. The room was spacious and had a luxurious feel with the right amount of amenities. We were invited to test the new boat, Black Swan, with the crew. It was the best sunset we have ever seen in our life and it made our honeymoon feel magical. If you enjoy sunsets, then Katamaran is the place to be. The staff is wonderful. Everyone was so nice, from housekeeping to the receptionist and the people from the restaurants. I got a pretty bad UTI and i needed antibiotics quick. We asked an receptionist if she knew a good doctor. Her collegues all tried to help, fortunately we found a doctor that could help me. Everyone from the staff asked me how I felt and it felt so genuine. The food is amazing. Breakfast buffet has everything you could wish for. A great mix of sweet and savory. We had multiple dinners at the main restaurant. Their Asian dishes are great. The Thai mango fish tastes amazing, smae goes for their Nasi Goreng and Pad Thai. I would also recommend the coffee chicken and the pita bread stuffed with shrimp as appetizer. We also had an afternoon tea (actually sunset tea), it was so good.

Spacious and comfortable bungalows with good air conditioning which is a must in the tropical climate. Lovely view of a small rice paddy and tropical greenery out the front. The hosts (Armando, Maxime and little Nuna) are thoroughly charming as are the staff. Would happily spend a couple of days here.

Me and my friend have stayed here for a week in order to explore everything that Labuan Bajo and Flores island has to offer. And we would have never imagined that the highlight of the trip would be the homestay and all the amazing people that run it! From taking care of my friend who had an injury from a surfboard experience to taking us on sunset trips to the most amazing places and even making us food for picnic (best fried noodles I’ve had), Ellen and the team are some of the most amazing people we’ve ever met! The accommodation is not in the main touristy area but we loved that aspect because it meant we were more connected to the locals. And, it’s just a 10 minute grab bike away from town! The place is really cozy, has a nice backgarden breakfast place and also a “relaxing” spot where you can play games or watch netflix! Not to mention to lovely cats, Luna and Zoey! Would defined recommend you to book with them, such amazing and caring people!

We had dinner at the guest house both evenings and felt like part of the family. Our hosts were wonderful, really helpful with transport and tours, cooked us wonderful meals both nights. On top of that rooms were immaculately clean, and the breakfast view is unbeatable. If you visit Ruteng, Kopa Family Guest Home is an absolute must!
