Situated in Bitung, Tangkoko Sanctuary Villa features a garden and bar. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This place is top-notch. Everything from room, bed, bathroom quality and professionalism is just outstanding. One of my best stays during our 3 weeks in Sulawesi. Ana and the team is excellent and we cannot recommend them enough. The view is certainly best in Tangkoko. Price is very good for the quality, consider all meals and drinks (excluding beer) are included. Their guides are also super hard working, who goes beyond to help us spot wildlife. Also I recommend the mangrove boat trip with Ober and his family. Interestingly, we realized that their wildlife tours are significantly better priced (40% cheaper) than the budget accommodations in the area that charged $15/night. Turned out this place has the best value after all.

Located in Bunaken, EL Homestay Bunaken provides accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. Excellent food, lots of fruit, good variety, different dishes every meal. Fish was very fresh and often accompanied by a photo of the actual fish. Stephen and Missi made us feel like part of the family. Stephen arranged for car and boat transportation from the airport and later to Tangkoko. Also for a snorkeling boat. Very attentive and interested in our welfare.

Offering a garden and garden view, Ilasan cottage. Is set in Tomohon, 3.5 km from Mount Lokon and 19 km from Christ Blessing. We stayed four nights in one of the two beautiful bungalows in the lovely garden of Jan‘s family home. Great hosts, clean and comfortable bungalows (western standard, most comfortable bed we have had in months!), delicious breakfast, Lokon volcano view, and fury friends (only outside the buildings) make this a perfect place to stay in Tomohon. Jan is happy to help you plan your trips / excursions and also drive you to sites, or you can rent a scooter from him.

Really good located with a very comfortable common area for resting and spending time. The food was delicious with nice options for vegetarian and in good quantity for the price! The hosts are super friendly and giving their best for making our stay as comfortable as possible. With a lot of facilities for discover the little island. Thank you very much!

Situated in Rinondoran, 200 metres from Paal Beach, Pulisan Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. Free WiFi and room service are offered. Anna and Lee are amazing and charming hosts, they really care about the guests well-being. There’s hammocks and bean bags on the beautiful beach (with views to Tangkoko) and a great chill out area at the back for rainy days.

Novita Homestay is a 3-star property situated in Bunaken, facing the sea. The property has sea and mountain views. My stay at Novita was incredible. I felt like part of a family. The food is excellent and the family is adorable. The accommodation is very comfortable and the value for money unbeatable. I only want to come back to Bunaken to see them! The girls are very nice too. We went snorkeling together. Thanks a lot. I recommend 100%.

Thalassa Dive & Wellbeing Resort boasts 1 outdoor pools in the shade of jungle gardens, a restaurant as well as a lounge & cafe. My wife and I do a lot of traveling and I must say the Thalassa Dive Resort does it right. The food is plentiful and fresh, the grounds are well kept, the bungalows and villas are comfortable, and there is world class wall and muck diving minutes away. However, the real gem at Thalassa are the genuinely friendly staff. The manager Arjen personally took the time to find out our interests and provided with top notch concierge service arranging all of our activities during our stay, along with joining us for some meals and taking us on a tour of Manado. The rest of the staff made us feel like part of their family with endless smiles and lots of conversation. One of the young ladies even joined us on a dive on her day off work. We can’t wait until our next visit.

Istanaku is located in the centre of Manado, a 10-minute drive from the Mega Mall and the Manado Town Square. IT offers a restaurant, free parking on site and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Great location, clean and friendly staff. Great value.

Guesthouse Guesthouse The 4 Fish is located in Tongkaina. Just 18 km from Manado and a 10-minute walk from a dive centre. Very friendly host who takes time for the individual interests of the guests.
