It would take a bit of skill to park considering the busy streets of Udaipur. However this place has an amazing view to lake Pichola and all the bustling places. The service is amazing and the hosts were great to accommodate requests, and readily available to hear the same. The room was clean, cozy and the terrace had a view of the whole city.

View from rooftop is THE BEST. Home away from HOME kinda feeling. Mehrangarh is walkable if you wish to trek up. Blue lanes are at walkable distance. Markets, clock tower is nearby. The property is more than 400 year old very well kept heritage . Cleanliness is 10/10. They have decorated each and every corner of the house. The welcome when we arrived was heartwarming. Thanks for opening your house so that travelers like us could experience this heritage, culture just like locals.

The hotel is located just 60 meters or so from the main street, so it is easily accessible. Check-in was smooth and so was early check-out. Payment was possible with UPI. The hotel is equiped with an elevator. The roof top, with a very cosy dining room and lounge, is on the sixth floor. There are numerous different eateries in the vicinity, so eating out is not an issue. The room was on the fourth floor with windows facing the back street. The room was clean and the bathroom was functional, with hot water and geyser, which rendered the stay pleasant. Wifi was functional in the room and other common areas. The staff has always been welcoming, courtous and helpful. Bazaars are in walking distance and autos, which stream continuously the main street, can be hailed or booked with ease. Overall, the five-night stay at The Lodge has been pleasant and hassle-free. Excellent value for money.
